How about an Internet site that offers to publish letters to the editor of Chinese media that failed the 'perception management' test?

It's not China doing this, it is the Chinese Communist Party doing it. Let's be clear on the difference. The CCP is a foreign ideology forced onto the Chinese people for over 50 years. That was the cultural revolution. So why do we need hearings on what has been known for over 50 years? More hearings and more hearings and add a dash of useless dialogue, and award the CCP the Olympics based on their promise!!! The only promise they have is 50 more years of the same brutal torture and killing. See www.ninecommentaries.org and find out more about the CCP and renounce your membership in the CCP now.

There is no denying this total control of information and perception is conducted in and around China. The irony is, while the "authorities" are so fond of railing against "bourgeois decadence," how seamlessly the "Western" culture of sensual indulgence that so dulls the higher workings of the mind and spirit has slotted into the mainstream in China. It's all about control, of course, and keeping everyone distracted, horny, and fixated on material goods and celebrities is the most proven approach in human history.

As for those that hold such hearings, gimme a freakin' break. How about shaving yourself before calling someone else "scruffy" (look in the mirror). The CIA has been in control of the US media for decades. Look up Operation Mockingbird for one. Billions in fake news have been bought in the past several years alone. It's not a China vs. the US or other "advanced" countries issue; it's about control of populations across borders.
